Meet The Creators – DŔâĠőŇ™
Tell us a little bit about yourself, and your background before getting into NFTs.
Welcome all I am Dragon, but some people call me by my first name which is Clive, I am a project manager for a large global organisation however my passion is art and especially Dragons, I have always loved dragons and my many tattoos prove this as everyone is a dragon including a full sleeve. I live in the Southeast of England with my wife and children.
How were you introduced to NFT’s?
I came across Proton in August and enjoyed being part of the community in the main XPR chat to where I first started to show my creativity by creating various media to promote the chain, I am the creator of the sticker pack which you may of seen even today, these are When Bike, When Fiat etc, I was noticed by one of the Block producers on the chain Proton UK and was approached to do some freelancing work to create media for them to promote their business and still today I create milestone art for their socials. And it was the community on the main proton chat who recommended for me to create NFTs.
Why did you choose Proton Blockchain to host your collection?
The reason I use Proton to host the NFTs is because of three main aspects, this is the zero fees and gas to mint, the instant transactions and the community and support that we share between artists and investors are worth a million, everyone supports and looks out for each other and that is one reason I have always quoted I am exclusive to Proton Mint and will remain this way forever.
Tell us about your collection and the inspiration.
As mentioned previously my passion is dragons and after I created the Mosaic Emoji art I still found myself sketching dragons and because I was new my sales were slow so I thought hey why not try minting a Dragon this is where I hand drew a Dragon which was Angry , hence the Name of the Angry Series was born, these first Angry Dragons were a hit, so i next followed the Bulls and the Babies.
As I was happy with how my early life as an NFT artist was going I wanted to create something different a unique design of creatures/gods/warriors and my idea of Mythical Creatures was born with only two mints a day selling almost instantly and each design was unique and one of a kind.
What benefits do your NFT holders have? (Passive Income, DAO, Airdrops)
Both collections have passive rewards paying each holder based on their holdings of any of the two collections, for example the Angry Series has 25% of each sale getting added to the Angry Rewards Wallet and shared between each holder based on how many they hold.
The biggest rewards come from the Mythical creature’s collection as each NFT has 1/3 of each sale goes into the Mythical Rewards wallet and is shared out monthly, to note in four months the holders shared above $5000 of the rewards with USDC payments.
Mythical rewards also include free Mythical Creatures Hatch a Dragon trading cards which will never be on sale from me and are exclusive to mythical holders, the holder of both cards (the power and dragon egg) can purchase a potion and hatch their dragon, this Dragon is a full rigged 3D NFT and there are different designs based on the rarity of the cards they have received. Also, all holders of this collection have received lifetime discounts for all future purchases which can be used on both collections.
What’s next for your project?
The Mythical Creatures are going to continue as they are, however, I have been slowly introducing full 3D main Mythical NFTs into the collection which again are fully rigged.
The aim for the mythical creatures is to have some form of interactive game where some of these characters can be included and rewards based on skills will be given. This is a while a way yet as I am still in early discussions with some game developers and aim to have something released either Q4 this year or Q1 next year.
Regarding the Angry Series, the community spoke, and we have reverted back to the Original Angry Dragon designs, the Bulls are continuing, and the introduction of the new Babies will be created and holders of a Bull or a Dragon will soon be able to breed a Baby.
