Meet The Creators – MetaTron
Tell us a little bit about yourself, and your background before getting into NFTs.
As A child I was always very hands on and had a thing for technology. Grew up playing a lot of video games . Prior to NFTS, music production and audio engineering was my my main hobby and job.
How were you introduced to NFT’s?
I heard about nfts the same way most people did. Word of mouth. I overheard the mother of my friend talking about how B a Louis Vuitton sold a digital sneaker for an insane amount of money. Although I couldn’t wrap my head around the concept, I wasn’t dismissive. I never actually started doing my own research until I found proton.
Why did you choose Proton Blockchain to host your collection?
Believe it or not, I stumbled across Proton on KuCoin and just decided to click it and read the token info. I was invested in xpr for about two months before I stumbled across a YouTube video about Proton NFTs While looking for videos on price predictions for Xpr. I then found protonmint on Twitter joined a giveaway and won my first NFT and the rest was history.
Tell us about your collection and the inspiration.
MetaTron actually started out as fun. The first one I made sat in my computer for months Until Paul and Lee released a site by the name of GLBDDEX. It wasn’t hard for any 3-D collection to stand out since it was brand new to the community. Aside from clear inspirations such as the movie Tron and video games like halo and destiny ,a big part of my inspiration came from the very first investor of the collection. He saw the potential MetaTron had and didn’t hesitate to express that and also pointed me in the right direction in order for this collection to succeed. I had not the slightest clue of how to run a collection all I knew was how to create.
What benefits do your NFT holders have? (Passive Income, DAO, Airdrops)
Our investors will receive benefits including revenue distribution from asset sales, game sales and other furuture revenue streams. We are currently researching a token which will include an early investor drop. This token will allow us to expand the team and build our vision of MetaTron as a Mutli Game Mode earning economy.
We want to appeal to gamers and so following the initial investors collection we will become a model that is orientated towards gamer sales. The details and tokenomics are in concept phase currently.
What’s next for your project?
In the short term our voxel artist is busying building NPCs to implement into our first creation Meta City. We will continue to research and grow our understanding of game mechanics vs sustainable economy to develop our product. Everything we are doing is in Alpha so we have some time to build.
