Give us a quick introduction to who you are and where you’re based?
My name is Mirsad, currently living in Slovenia and most of our services are based in Germany.
With over 10 years of experience as a system administrator, I have a strong background in managing servers and ensuring information security.
How did you get into Blockchain & Cryptocurrency?
I first encountered crypto in 2015 and have since been fascinated by the potential of blockchain technology. Through mining cryptocurrencies, I’ve gained hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of blockchain networks.
What interested you in becoming a Block Producer, and why did you choose Proton Blockchain?
My colleague and I were exploring new, potentially interesting projects and came across the Proton blockchain. It quickly became the most captivating project we found through our due diligence. As someone with a security background, I always approach new projects with caution, but I was impressed by the level of organization, transparency, and community engagement of the Proton team. Their blockchain technology offers a wide range of opportunities for developers, as well as advanced security features through the WebAuth wallet for managing accounts. These factors convinced us to join as a Block Producer and we are proud to be part of such a well-rounded community.
Aside from being a Block Producer, do you have any other Blockchain-based projects?
We are proud to announce that we have built the first DNS system interacting with the Proton blockchain, primarily focused on security for Web2 and Web3. ProtonDNS uses an AI-generated daily feed of unsafe connections and cryptocurrency scam and phishing websites to keep you secure at all times. This project is still in beta stage, and we hope it will be launched soon.
Do you use Proton Blockchain for this project, if so, why did you choose Proton Blockchain, and how does this project contribute to the ecosystem?
Again Proton blockchain provides a simple and accessible method to communicate with a core. All actions are fully trackable, making it a fast, efficient, and highly secure platform for future applications. Simply put, Proton embodies all these attributes in one powerful package. ⚛️
Why should Proton Blockchain users vote for you as a block producer?
As a Block Producer, our top priority is to ensure high availability and security of our services. To achieve this, we have implemented various security measures such as complete isolation of our block production environment, DDoS protection, backup systems, a honeypot to detect attacks, and continuous monitoring for potential security threats. Additionally, our API endpoint has extra security measures including protection against Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7 DDoS attacks.
Other than that, we will publish more articles to increase awareness of cybersecurity.
